Can I power other devices via DIN-MIDI connection?

The MIDI specification outlines an optional standard for supplying a form of "phantom power" over standard DIN-MIDI plugs. Very few devices take advantage of this option, however there are still some relatively rare MIDI devices that do require power over MIDI this way.

Early versions of iConnectivity interfaces did not supply power over MIDI, but more recent interface versions do offer 5 volt power. iConnectivity interfaces which can supply power over MIDI include:

iConnectAUDIO2+
iConnectAUDIO4+
mio10
mio4
mio2
iConnectMIDI2+
iConnectMIDI4+

Note that early versions of the AUDIO4+, MIDI2+, and MIDI4+ did not supply power over MIDI, however this has been added in the current versions of these interfaces. All versions of the AUDIO2+ and mio interfaces have supplied power over MIDI from their original inception.
